Welcome for some superhappy shopping by the ocean!
About ten years after the last shop closed the doors at Flø (Floe), Moods of Norway opened the Fjord Store at this little parish. The retail shop opened the spring of 2009 to the sound of a marching band and the smell of fresh norwegian waffles. From that day the 160 inhabitants again could go shopping in their own neighbourhood.
The Moods clothing is the same here as everywhere else. The spectacular view with the rolling waves, the mountains - and totally real cows - is all included. The beautiful place also has a choir, some cottages and a dozen well maintained tractors.
The shop is situated in the former schoolhouse together with the art gallery Studio Hugo Opdal - a gallery which displays first-class art off the beaten track. In addition to art and clothing, you can enjoy fresh coffee and delicious chocolate.
